Transmissions
Transmission services are very important for the longevity of your vehicle! There is a lot of misinformation regarding transmission flushes. For many years, Lexus stated that they had a “lifetime transmission fluid” and it did not need flushed. We believed flushes were necessary because over time, fluids will lose their viscosity & quality. We asked BG product company to test the integrity of used transmission fluids and they determined that the fluid began to fail at 60k miles, therefore we highly recommend flushes at this interval. Over the last few years, Lexus has started to recommend transmission flushes.
